Cuisinart 1 1/2 Quart Automatic Ice Cream Maker Review

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… ok, fine, I’ll stop. But, everybody likes ice cream of some kind and if you’re reading this, you’re probably not any different. And if you’re a health conscious person that likes ice cream, you also know that making your own ice cream often ends in healthier ice cream for you and your family. You know what’s in it, they know what’s in it, and everybody’s happy.
Cuisinart has made making homemade ice cream pretty easy with its Cuisinart 1.5-qt. Ice Cream Maker. You don’t have to have any salt or ice to make the process work. The chilling chamber is placed in the freezer for close to 24 hours (the instructions say around 8, I say 24) and it works sort of like the mugs that you can place in the freezer that have liquid inside them. When the liquid inside the walls of the chamber freezes, you place it onto the base and place the paddle inside, lock the top, and turn the machine on. The ingredients go in through a top similar to one found on a food processor. Being able to mix it at different consistencies is great, too. Once your base ice cream is close to being finished, you can add in anything else you like, from nuts to bits of chocolate or caramel and even fruit.
Cleanup is a breeze, too, because of the non-stick chamber the ice cream is made in.
Another great thing about this is if it breaks, no worries, because it has a 3 year warranty.
