Natural Defense Flea And Tick Spray For Dogs Review
April 22nd, 2010 | Published in Pet Product Reviews
You should recognize the brand from a couple of my other reviews: Natural Defense Flea and Tick Squeeze-On Review and Natural Defense Flea Shampoo For Dogs Review.
This product gives about the same effectiveness as the other products they have, but it just depends on which one you need. If you’re traveling and you need something to keep the fleas off of your pet at a friend’s or relative’s house, the spray is a good temporary repellent. If your dogs are outside a lot, you may want to go with the squeeze-on tubes instead of the spray. And if your dog is loaded with fleas after being without treatment for a while, the shampoo will work wonders.
The only complaint I’ve seen about the Natural Defense line of products so far has been the strong smell. Personally, the list of ingredients should be a clue: peppermint oil, lemongrass oil, thyme oil, cinnamon oil, and clove oil. If you’re allergic to any of these things, this is not the product line for you. If you can’t stand the smell of cloves, this isn’t for you. Other reviews make it plain: this works wonders for getting rid of fleas, but if you can’t stand your home smelling like Christmas, steer clear.
But, who cares if the house smells like Christmas as long as you don’t have fleas biting you and your pets all the time? Natural Defense Natural Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs and Puppies really works and when I bought it, I got exactly what I paid for: a natural flea repellent that won’t harm my pet or me.
