WalkyDog Bike Leash Review

Taking your dog out with you on walks is great, but taking him with you on bike rides can be a pain… until now. The best thing about the WalkyDog Hands Free Bicycle Dog Leash
is that you can take your dog with you when you go bike riding without having to worry about getting cited for not having your dog on a leash. There are city ordinances requiring that all dogs be leashed when in public and this used to make it hard on anyone wanting to ride a bicycle and take their (well-behaved) dog with them.
The best thing about this system is that you can take it off of one bike and put it onto another one if you decide let the dog go with someone else to ride. The lead that it comes with it is 14” long, but you can always use a different lead with it if that’s too short. Using one of the same width is required, however, because it won’t fit otherwise. Most hardware stores carry it.
For a well behaved dog that doesn’t try to chase after everything it sees, the bike leash is a great idea. Fido gets to go on a walk with you and you don’t get a citation. But, if your dogs aren’t behaved and pull on the leash when you walk them, the leash might be an accident waiting to happen.
