No matter how badly my husband might want to go camping, I would never, ever consent to go along without something to sleep on. Notice I said sleep on, not in. A sleeping bag on the ground is out of the question. I have to have a mattress and the perfect camping bed solution is a Coleman Queen-Sized Quickbed.

This inflatable air bed is great to take camping because it inflates pretty quickly and stays inflated longer than most air beds. It will not necessarily sleep as well as the great mattress you have at home, but when you consider the hard cold ground as the only alternative, it is about as good as you are going to get.

I have said before that Coleman makes great camping gear, so the Coleman Queen-Sized Quickbed will make tent sleeping much more bearable. Just be sure your tent is large enough to hold a queen size airbed first. This airbed is also great to have around the house if you have guests that you need a place to sleep temporarily. These airbeds will last a fairly long time if you use caution and prevent them from getting punctured. Placing a comforter or mattress pad on top helps protect them a lot. They do come with a repair kit and if you do take the bed camping, be sure you bring the repair kit along!
