When I was growing up, we did a lot of camping, well, my parents tried to make me do a lot of camping. I wasn’t as thrilled about it then as I am now. I was more of an indoor video game and computer nerd than I was an outdoor girl. However, when I got married, to my dismay I discovered that my husband also loves camping! In order to please him and myself, I had to track down the perfect tent and I found it in the Gigatent Family Camping Tent .

Since I have 3 step kids that we sometimes take along, it had to be a spacious tent that was durable enough to stand up to 3 rambunctious kids constantly going in and out of it. This baby can be made into 3 separate bedrooms, which is great for privacy when you need it for changing into swimsuits or getting into dry clothes. If we don’t have the kids along, the extra rooms are great for storage and I have to bring along a lot of stuff when I go camping!

This tent is fairly easy to set up, but it might take you a time or two to get it done quickly, but it is worth it in the end. The little screened in porch on the front is a feature I really love as well and it makes a great place for the dogs to sleep!  There is not much ducking to get in and out which can be really bad on the back after a couple of days! There is plenty of room to stand straight up for people of average height.

If your family likes to go camping, I really recommend the Gigatent Family Camping Tent if you need a lot of space, headroom and a little privacy as too.
