Kurgo Skybox Booster Seat Review
July 9th, 2010 | Published in Pet Product Reviews
Okay, so I went from California to Tennessee in a 2 seat sports car with myself, my laptop, some luggage, and a very spoiled little Pomeranian named Phoebe. Among other things. And this is what I used to keep her comfortable in the seat next to me while we were on that 3,000 mile trek by ourselves. She likes being able to look out the window and see where we’re going because she just likes riding. She slept in this the majority of the way while we weren’t stopping to use the bathroom or grab some food.
The harness that comes with it is useful for keeping your pet inside the booster seat while you’re driving and keep them from getting all over the car, but since a) my Pom didn’t have anywhere else to climb around to and b) she liked being in it enough to stay in it, I didn’t really have to use it. If you have a bigger vehicle, though, you may want to go ahead and use the harness with them.
I was pleasantly surprised that she stayed in it; I totally expected her to be trying to get in my lap while I was driving, but it was comfortable enough to her for her to stay in most of the trip. I would be getting another one for my other Pom, Bear, but he gets too carsick to go on road trips very much.
