Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Eqypt – Nintendo DS Reviews
July 12th, 2010 | Published in Video Game Reviews
I suppose you could say that Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Egypt is a combination of a puzzle game and card game. It really isn’t like other puzzle games though. Mahjong is pretty old block tile game that supposedly originated in china hundreds of years ago, but there are those that challenge when the game was really invented.
No matter when it was invented, I had an old Super Nintendo mahjong game that was similar to this one and wore that one out I loved it so much, so naturally when I found this new one for Nintendo DS I was thrilled.
With over 300 puzzles in classic mode and 11 new versions on Mahjong, you will long hours of fun with this game. Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Egypt will provide you with plenty of enjoyable entertainment for the cost of this game. It is not that difficult to play and will be great for anyone about age ten to adult. By the way, these are not mistakes with the spelling of the name Mahjong, I have found that this version of the game is spelled with two g’s at the end and most other places spell it with only one, I have no idea why!
